10-Step Quality Assurance Checklist

A common customer complaint in the home improvement business is that nobody ever seems to know exactly what's going on. When are you coming? When will you be done?

The Midwest Home Design way puts those complaints to rest once and for all. We monitor every detail of your project at each and every step – and keep you promptly informed of important developments.

1. Order processing – When your order arrives, we'll call you just to make sure you know we got it.
2. Plan review – In most cases, our Installation Manager will come to your home to review the work to be done. He will take exact measurements, compile a list of materials, and answer any remaining questions you may have.
3. Confirmation – We then place your order with the Manufacturer(s). When they acknowledge the order, we carefully proof their statement (twice) to make sure every detail is correct.
4. Construction of Windows – With the go-ahead from MHD, the manufacturer begins custom building your order and sends us an estimated completion date.
5. Scheduling – As soon as we hear from the factory, we'll contact you to schedule a convenient installation date and time.
6. Factory Delivery – Upon delivery at our offices, we carefully cross-check your order and contact you to confirm the installation date and time.
7. Pre-Installation Review – We will call you in the morning to provide an estimated time of arrival. Before the work begins, our Crew Chief will meet with you to review the installation process and answer any questions you may have.
8. Installation – Throughout the process, MHD will check in periodically to find out how it's going and whether you have any more questions.
9. Walk-Through – When the job is complete, MHD crew will walk you through the job to make sure you're satisfied with the quality and workmanship.
10. Warranty – Rest assured that if you need warranty service we are only a phone call away. Midwest Home Design is here to help with any service issues.
